His hands and neck dont look aged enough for someone whos supposed to be a geezer, need more wrinkles, and big knuckles. I know you guys are also going with the eyeball in the glasses design, but you can still have the bag under and above his eye to emphasize his age, along with the crows feet at the sides, it also allows for more clear expression in his eyes then just the floating ball. Other then that looks nice and animatable.

good job frank,
as I mentioned during our meeting, I also do agree with bag under the eye look..
i'll try to have some sketches up incorporating the simplistic design you came up with frank
but overall, I like the big C arc that simplifies the neck & shoulder to arm area!

People have given some great suggestions frank! I love what you've done though. It's solid, but animatable :)

cool, the simplified style works pretty well here, maybe the wooden leg is an unneccessary detail, unless its actually backed up with an explaination in the story...

Thanks for all the feed back guys...i agree with what youre all saying...its tough trying to find a good balance between too much detail and not enough...Ultimately we need a design that everyone can handle and animate easily and effectively...we're getting closer though...haha and im glad to see Sean creeping the Evil Stevil Blog...glad to see you checkin our stuff out man
